When Lights Up
This is displayed when an invalid value is set or an invalid button operation is attempted. Check the button opera-
tion and unit state (CENTER / REMOTE setting etc.), then try the operation again.
When the RUN / ERROR display lamp lights up red
or the check display
lights up or flashes
Z There is an abnormality in an air conditioner.
The RUN / ERROR display lamp for the group number of the abnormal indoor unit lights up red, the check
display lights up or flashes, and the abnormal indoor unit stops. If the display unit number is the abnormal indoor
unit, the check display flashes.
Z Notify your dealer of the “error code”, “abnormal condition”, “abnormal indoor
unit model”, etc.
Method for Checking the Indoor Unit Number for Which the CHECK Display Is Lit

1. Press the CHECK button.
The
flashes and the abnormal indoor unit number and its group number (for an indoor unit managed as
an individual unit, “--”) are displayed.
If there is more than one abnormal indoor unit, the lowest indoor unit number is displayed.
The figure shows the display for an error (E59) occurring at 10:25 on December 20. (E59 shows that is an
outdoor unit error, so it is necessary to inspect outdoor unit No. 23.)
Note
For some indoor unit models, the outdoor unit number is not displayed.
<When there is more than one abnormal indoor unit>
2. Press the
button.
The display switches to increase the indoor unit number.
Pressing the
button has the opposite effect.
3. Press the CHECK button or the ALL / GROUP / ONE button.
The
lights up and the display returns to the running state of the indoor unit being displayed.
